Box 549 Siletz, OR 97380 STAFFAPPRECIATION BANQUET Recently, the Siletz Tribal Council hosted a banquet to thank members of the Staff for all their hard work and dedication. The banquet, complete with dinner and dancing, was held at Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City. Through all the trials and tribulations in Tribal Government, staff have remained professional and dedicated to their purpose — and tribal members have reaped the benefits. America's Walk for Diabetes-98 The Siletz Diabetes Educational Council participated in America’s Walk for Diabetes on October 3 in Eugene. The Siletz team was over 40 people and won the honor of having the largest team at the Eugene site. The walk raises funds for diabetes research and treatment, as well as increasing awareness about diabetes. Nearly all of the team completed the entire five miles!
