Turnout was very promising, beginning with 6, and increasing to 10 people in attendance. This is the first of a series of classes to be offered by the Siletz Business Information Center (SBIC). One of the goals of the SBIC is to target potential income generating enterprises, that would employ tribal and community members. If you have an idea please come in or call the SBIC to share your inspiration so that we might begin to brainstorm about how to make it a reality. There are lots of “customers” in Lincoln County that need the services your idea could provide. Making the idea a reality just requires finding resources or getting feedback. The “Venture Out” program is an invaluable tool in our goal to build and manage successful businesses. Combine that with the classes implemented by ONABEN and SBIC, and you’ve got immense potential.
