July 1 and 2 as Chinook Winds
Casino hosts "A Big Band Salute to
America!" Veteran singer Beryl
Davis, who performed with the
legendary Glenn Miller Orchestra
during the war years, will take the
stage with Ted Herman and his
Orchestra. They will perform
those Swing-era sounds we
remember so well recalling a time
when the nation laughed, cried,
and danced amidst joy, sorrow
and fevered hope for final victory.
Beryl Davis, daughter of band
leader Harry Davis and his lead
singer, was discovered in London
by Glenn Miller who enlisted her
