In reviewing of our process for charging fees (deferred payment fee and/or non-
payment fee) for the 2017-18 and/or 2018-19 academic years, we have determined that
you should receive a refund. These fees were charged to you and deducted from your
financial aid during the time period listed above. Enclosed is a check in the amount we
determined should be refunded to you.

.Q: Why am I receiving a refünd?
A: We reviewed our process for allocating fees and determined that you should receive
a refund of the fees.
Q: Why didn’t I received a refund for ail of the deferred payment fees and/or non-
payment fees I was charged?
A: CCC is only refunding charges for those students whose financial aid file was
complete (all documents received) before the fees were assessed.
Q: Why did this happen?
A: As part of our continual improvement process, we aré always evaluating what is in
the best interest of the students.
Q: Why did we only review 2017-18 and 2018-19?
A: Only the last two years were identified as the review time frame.
