‘THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN ART PRACTICE’ OPEN
“ TIME TO WRITE” WRITING CIRCLE
THROUGH DEC. 6 IN THE ALEXANDER GALLERY
The Oregon City Public Library will host a
writing circle beginning Dec. 2, from 4 - 7 p.m.
on the 1st and 3rd Mondays in December and
January. -
All are welcome to attend and utilize the free
Wi-Fi, resource books and librarians. “ Time to
Write Writing Circle” is an informal time for
research and writing.
The writing circle is held in the Oregon City
Library Meeting Room. No RSVP is required, just
show up with your pen and paper or laptop and
be ready to write. For additional information

Clackamas Community College is hosting a Portland
State University Art Practices thesis exhibition by
CCC alum Justin Taylor open through Dec* 6 in the
Alexander Gallery.
Taylor’ s exhibit is divided into two unique spaces.
The first showcases finalized works and the second
uses the space for creating. In “ The Development of an
Art Practice,” Taylor explores the process of “ m aking”
and showcases a series of acrylic and mixed media
paintings.
This exhibition is free and open to the public. The
gallery, located in the Niemeyer Center on the Oregon
City campus, is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.

TIME TO GIVE TO THOSE IN NEED
The Giving Tree project provides assistance f o f "
Clackamas Community College students who need
extra help for their families this holiday season.
To contribute gifts, stop by the Community Center
on the Oregon City campus, select a tag from the
tree and take the tag to the ASG office to pick up a
card with the child’ s information. Unwrapped gift
donations will be received at the ASG office until 5
p.m. on Dec. 2. Cash donations and gift cards are

Clackamas Community College’ s Associated
Student Government is holding its annual
craft sale, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Dec, 3 and 4, in the
Community Center on the Oregon City campus.
This free public event supports CCC student
clubs and local vendors by purchasing
handmade art, crafts and treats, which make
great gifts or stocking staffers for the holidays.
Attendees are encouraged to bring donations
for the Cougar Cave, CCC’ s food pantry, but
donations are not required to participate.
Suggested donations include fruit cups,
applesauce, granola bars, canned meats, peanut
butter and other ready-to-eat meals. Toiletries
are also needed. For questions, call Beau
