TICKETS REQUIRED FOR GRADUATION
Graduation is just around the corner. For
those of you who have not petitioned to
graduate, the deadline is approaching.
May 6, the sixth week of spring term, is the
final deadline for petitioning. Petitions
will be accepted after that date but there
will be no guarantee that the student will
be put into the commencement program.
There are a couple ch an ges to the
ceremonies this year. The ceremony for
GED/adult high school graduation is June
9, at 7 p.m . It is now in the Gregory Forum
to accommodate the decreasing number
o f GED graduates. The com m encem ent
cerem ony is Ju n e io , at 7 p .m . in the
Randall Gym .
Tickets will now be provided to students
fo r frie n d s and fa m ily m em b ers to
attend the com m encem ent cerem ony.
The registration for this ceremony will
begin the first week of spring term and
the deadline is M ay 13. The p la n n in g
committee is still figuring out how many
people can fit in the Randall G ym but
has said they estim ate that each student
will have three tickets. To be guaranteed
these tickets, students m ust register by
May 13. Overflow seating for those who
have more than three guests will be in the
McLoughlin Auditorium, Gregory Forum
and the Osterman Theatre.
