contenders are littering the campus
with catchy flyers and slogans, hoping
to catch a student’s eye to get them to
. yote in their favor.

President, while current President
Erick Breton is running unopposed.
Russ is currently ASGs d u b s sena
tor, an d Stauffer is the prom otions
senator. Both are willing to take on
the job as ASG vice president, which
covers events at the school th at ASG
takes p art in.
ASG President prick Breton runs
uncontested, and has served this year
as a representation o f C C C in various
statewide official events and sits on the
Board of Education meetings.
It’s im portant that people know
w ho ru n s ASG, because often it’s
ASG that is a huge part in all events
on campus. Barbecues, fundraisers,

“I am V ery excifed about all o f our
candidates for the President a n d Vice
President positions,” M arks said in an
email. “T hey have all worked h ard
this year an d dem onstrated leader
ship skills.”
H o w m a n y k n o w th a t Vice
President hopeful Stauffer w ants to
m ajor in astrophysics? But h er m ain
focus right now is on becom ing vice
President for ASG. “I have a lo t o f
great and new ideas, and things ffiat I
w ant to change,” Stauffer sa id “I love
talking to students, an d H ike to see
people succeed.” She Wants to focus
on bringing the ASG team closer
together so they can support students
m ore efficiently, an d prom ote the
“com petency o f m any cultures” no
m atter the gender, color, o r national

keep ASGs passion going.”

W ith a ru m o r o f a college- wide
rebrand ru n n in g through the halls
o f Clackam as C om m unity College,
T he Clackamas P rin t w ent to survey
30 students around cam pus with
a very sim ple question: “W hat are
C C C s colors?”
Remarkably, we w ere faced w ith
blank looks an d m any ‘uhm ’s’ an d
uhs’. Even som e athletes weren’t
aware o f the colors th at th ey w ear for
the school, as one track runner stated,
“we ru n for the school, we should
k now this! ”, and another needed help
from another athlete, w ho just stated,
“Seriously? W h at colors are o n your
uniform ?”

grays and blacks w ere given, b u t the
official answ er is even m ore obvious
