Hark! The end o f the school
year is near and summer is rear
ing its head o f sun soaked rays,
peering at you through mirrored
shades with a come-hither nod
and holding out a perfectly
tanned hand.
“It’s time,” it says.
No shoes (unless their san
dals), no homework (unless by
choice), and o f course an obliga
tory cocktail. Unless you are not
o f age that is, and in that case,
you perhaps may want to stop
reading now because these reci
pes are not for you - EPL does
not condone underage drinking.
To those o f you who are of
age, Eat, Print, Love is happy to
share some family cocktail reci
pes that have withstood the test
o f time (not to mention count
less taste tests) and are sure to
add a little kick to one o f the
sultry summer evenings that our
coming our way.

so much a cocktail as it is fodder

Portland Rose Festival, w hich
began Sunday, M ay 19 and will
run through June 16. Highlights o f
the festival still to com e include:
