its, will be the beneficiaries o f
a stream lined new process acces­
sible through a' students account
at my.clackamas.edu. It will also
m ake th in g se a sie r fo r staff at
the college to deal w ith a c o m -
puter system that can overload at
a tim e w hen potential support is
n o t available.
Convenience and'ease o f regis­
tration for this type o f student is
w hat the new process o f priority
registration is a im e d at creating,
according to Tara Sprehe, direc­
to r o f enrollm ent services/regis-
-tra rfo r the college. Sprehe has
w orked here for 11 years. From
the im plem entation o f online reg­
istration to increased enrollm ent
in a sluggish economy, she has
seen firsthand how the system can
be affected b ylarge m idnight user
loads T h e new system th at is com ­
ing to the college will hopefully
alleviate these problem s an d give
students w ho, the opp o rtu n ity to
truly have priority w hen .register­
ing-
