‘Tower Heist’ doesn’t rob you of a good time

for the audience but leaves them wanting more. The
language and sexual content makes the PG-13 rating
Last Friday, the next big star studded comedy made
its way to* the big screen. “ Tower Heist” puts the
phrasé “D o tft’get mad, get even,” frito action. W hen
à group’o f hardworking h o tel personnel finds out that
their boss, a hotel owner ana wealthy businessman,
has involved all their investment money in an illegal
scheme, a group o f them ; unite to rob his high-nse
residence.
Josh, Kovacs, à .principle character in this action
comedy, runs a hotel known only' as “The Tower.” His
boss Arthur Shaw, played by Alan Alda, has been one
o f the most successful businessman; but when Special
Agent Claire Denham and, the FBI come knocking
accusing Shaw of scamming people, the hotel staff
áre lefif wondering if their big snot boss, is innocentor
guilty
p I
Kovacs teams up with his colleague and nephew
Charlie, resident Mr. Fitzhugh and sometimes criminal
Slide to plan-out how to get the hotel’s money back.
“Tower Heist” is directed by the same man that
brought “Prison Break” to television and “Rush H our”
to the big screen, Brett Ratner. This PG-13 comedy
unites the talents o f Ben Stiller (Josh Kovacs), Eddie
Murphy (Slide), Matthew Broderick (Mr. Fitzhugh)
and Casey Affleck (Charlie); The main female charac
ter is played by actress TeaiLéoni (Spetial Agent (Claire
Denham).
This all-star cast offers up a heaping plate of humor
seem incredibly reasonable.
“It was funny. I love Eddie M urphy” said Julia
Scott, “but I was bored at other times. Overall it was
good.” ^ ,f, i, t

Couplèd with its hum or “Tower Heist brings both
action and suspense. The movie leaves you guessing
what the group o f workers will do next and now far
they will go. “Tower Heist” teaches the audience a les
son in money management and trusting your cowork
ers.
•
“I’ve heard about schemes and people losing money
to random people, b u t l like that the movie added
some humor to the situation. I would never let some
one invest millions o f dollars for me and the movie
shows why no one should,: but it got everyone to laugh
at it,” saia jason Scott.
,,
W ith a 104 minute runtime, the film lasts as long as
the average movie but the audience loses track o f time
when the film gets info how much a hotel really takes
to work at top notch. After the premiere of the film,
the opinions were mainly positive but there were a few
le that didn’t enjoy it.
,T ,
didn’t like it much. I thought it could have had
mofe comedy. The action Was good but I expected it to
be stricdy a comedy,” said Steve Waison.
W ith thè combination of action, hilarity and an all-
star cast, the movie tells th esto ry of a serious but amus
ing event that could happen to any person. “Tower
Heist,” is deserving of a three out of five stars.
