.‘•“•Limelight” is now open in the Alexander Gallery for the public to
view.
The exhibit features the works of three artists: Philippe Blanc,
Salvatore Reda and Marne Lucas.
While the artists have very different styles, they have all come
together as what the college’s art department Web site calls “spe
cialists in the art of fascination.”
Blanc, a native Frenchman, takes center-stage with his depiction
of what looks like a pretty outhouse, with breadsticks inside.
Lucas contributed four pigment prints to the exhibit, which are
“a visual way to document her life for many years,” it states in her
artist description.
Reda’s film “Dino” is about the great Dean Martin and why pres
ent-day performers’ talents are uncomparable to his.
Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, until
March 7.
