Chrysalis, a women writers’ group,

The only public observatory in western
Oregon, the Haggart Observatory, is
open for public viewing on dear
Saturday nights. The observatory
opens at dusk; and viewing begins at
dark and continues for about three
hours. A $3 donation is requested. For

CCC Writers’ Club -meets Fridays,

Tom Wakeling directs the CCC Jazz
ensemble in a concert featuring the
music of several well-known jazz leg­
ends. The concert takes place

the Sinfonia Concertante Orchestra in a
performance of A. Vivaldi’s “Gloria” at
