Summer Sayles
Erik Kaster
Erik returned to school to make
a big splash, receiving two asso
ciates degrees; one in networking
and micro systems and one in
computer applications. His GPA
is an impressive 3.97. He plans
to go on to get a bachelors in
either electronics or computer
engineering.

grads!
Perhaps it was Summer’s
enthusiasm and energy which
made it possible for her to be the
first one in her family to earn a
college degree. She received an
Associate of Arts Oregon
Transfer (AAOT) degree with a
3.5 GPA, and will continue her
education at PSU, majoring in
education or counseling. So far,
she has made sure that she’s kept
herself busy, always getting her
self involved in campus activi
ties, such as being a Student
Ambassador, and working as a
teacher’s assistant at Estacada
High School.
Cheryl Braim
Having received an associates
in micro electronics systems
technology with a GPA of 3.62,
Cheryl plans to work in the semi
conductor industry. She is cur
rently in a work-study program
with Intel, and hopes to be
employed with them when she
graduates.
Decole is an admirable person
who has crossed many obstacles,
and achieved a lot despite it. As
a teenage mom and high school
drop out, she wasn’t able to com
plete her GED until ten years
later, in 1999. At CCC, she
served as ASG Child Care
Senator for two terms, and presi
dent of the Native American
Club. She is currently going
through the application/hiring
process
at
Coffee
Creek
Correctional Facility, where her
strength should make her an
excellent role model for women
trying to turn their lives around.
Much congratulations to the people
who worked to earn their GEDs here
at CCC.

Good luck on continuing the
