The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict:
Is Peace Attainable? Robert
Horenstein, director of the Jewish
Federation, examines why a
majority of Israelis, while desiring
peace, believe that a political
settlement with the Palestinians is
unattainable with their current
leadership. All sessions begin at

instructor Kate Gray and
astronomy instructor James
Dickinson will discuss the
connections between poetry and
astronomy. The presentation will
include star-inspired poems
written by students in Gray’s
poetry class. “Words Form the

April 17, from 7 to 8 p.m. in the

Hall

Coping with Worry: Explore the
causes of worry and strategies to
help manage excessive worrying
behavior presented by Anne
Pardington, who teaches in the
Life and Career Options Program
at CCC. Aging Issues are held the
fourth Monday of each month

Joseph Millar, poet and instructor
at Mt. Hood CC, will give a poetry

installation artist Robert Irvin will
