For the first time in history, the
196-piece “Visual Chronicle of Port
land” is on display at nine differ-
ent locations, Clackamas Commu
nity College being one.
The “Visual Chronicle of Port
land” is an archival collection of
works on paper from the year 1985
to the present, owned by the city
of Portland that features artists’
views of Portland’s social fabric
and urban landscapes. The art
work includes photos, paintings,
drawings andprints by 116 artists.
It is celebrated for its tribute of in
dividual artist’s distinct styles and
perspectives.
The work on display at CCC is in
the Pauling Gallery and will feature
the year 1986. Paintings include
works by Cathy Cheney, Dennis
Cunningham, Mike Lindenmeyer,
Kirk Lybecker, Robert Miller, Renee
Ugrin, Sherrie Wolf and Linda
Wysong.
