onstruction on the Haggart Observatory
has begun and the following are some of the
highlights:

3/6 - Scaffolding will be erected
3/10- Crane removes dome
3/13 - Demolition & reconstruction begins
5/12 - Dome placed back on
5/15 - Dismantle scaffolding
• 5/16-31 - Final touches and painting done by
volunteers
• 5/31 - Spring fund-raising and celebration event
he Clackamas Community College sign on
Beavercreek Road (Near Clairmont), is being re­
constructed by Smith Masonry. The sign was de­
stroy ed back in November by a runaway truck, and
isn't expected to be finished for another few weeks.
