Issues forum is being offered
on the signs and symptoms

Flowers and gifts: Hie Native
American club will be spon­
soring a Valentines sale. Fresh
flowers , wood carvings and

Beginning bird watching class:
“Knowing Your Backyard Winter
Birds,” is being offered as a guide
to identifying winter birds by bird
expert Marilynne Keyser. The
class is being held tonight at the
ELC from 7- 9 p.m. For more info,

Pruning class: “Basic Pruning”
■ is a four-week, hands-on class to
teach pruning techniques and tips,
offered, by the Horticulture Dept.
There is a $50 fee for the course,
which meets from 1-4:50 p.m. on
Thursdays beginning Feb. 10. For

Social Sciences Colloquium:
"The Artwork of Kay Slusarenko"
will be held in M206 on Feb. 17
from 12-1 p.m. Kay is the Associ­
ate Dean of Arts, Humanities, and
Social Sciences at Clackamas. The
event is free.
Volunteers needed: Volunteers are
needed to work with children ages
eight to 12 in a program that will
begin in March and run through
May oh Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Volunteers will be trained to help
in the classroom and on site with
ponds, wildlife, trees and trails. If
you are interested in volunteering,
applications are available at the
ELC, and are due by Feb. 14. For
