Paul Creighton, new vice
president for the Associated
Student Government (ASG), is
a well-rounded individual and
leader with goals for the col
lege and dreams for his life.
Although Creighton has not
yet made a list of his top priori
ties for ASG, he does have the
big picture.
“I want to be someone that
everyone, even the president,
can talk to if they need help
with anything,” said Creighton.
“I want them [other officers] to
learn from me and I want to, in
turn, learn from them.”
Creighton is not a stranger to
leadership. He has been in
volved with the ASG since
1998, when he came to Clacka-
mas from Milwaukie High
School.
“I went right in my first term
of college and I did ASG, stu
dent ambassador and Main
stream, the vocal Jazz group. I
was kind of worried at first, but
it’s feasible,” stated Creighton.
“Everyone in this school is so
easy to work with, all the ad
ministration, they made it pos
sible.”
At Clackamas, Creighton as
sumed the position of student
access senator; he moved to
legislative senator, then to
elections officer.
This school year he has
served as campus activities of
ficer and now is the vice-presi
dent.
