From Doom -to <5iee
Sltsabeth Mlles
From -the gloom old DougaL strode,
Untitled
and sought the wandering bo?
who rode the helper through the wood,
and smote her with a bough-
DoUgaL trudged through mudd? swamp,
Upon ma’ v$/ordl” he said

I'm looking for a woman who will steal my
soul
Who will make me cry like no man has
ever cried
To send me walking the rain slick streets
looking for my soul again
Screaming out in the darkness
make life alive again
' Ah hope she hasna died.”
Blackbirds trilled as DougaL swam
through marshy, Ca-t—tailed ba?.
In the waiting room,
Easter Sunday
by Dennis Knight
He spied his beast, not Come to harm,
A rose of love
Winter falls
tied -Fast to ?on ash tree.
was given to me
both outside and in
red in color
smell so sweet
I feel lost
A petal falls
Friends are forever
His check wasn’t cashed,
not once but twice
inside your mind
time will tell
like the hangman’s lever
Because he was smashed
and in your heart
the rose just fell
The love is gone
To the earth once more
a couple no more
back again
forgotten in merth
together not when.

Surrounded
reflecting light
Ply husband and I were a sight
upon my pain.
As the police came to break up the fight
Waiting.
And so PEE turned out our lights.
Crying inside.
A husband's story!
Eyes of borrowed strength
look down into the fade of his.
Ply wife and I had no big fight
- I did pay the bill for the light
His hand in mine
holds tight, to say he knows-
not where to begin
A wife's story;
by walls of white
A

to comfort me
and leave me with a memory of his strength.
-
The police were not there
the rose smells sweet
forever more
Ply wife wasn’t fair
And I only had one small Bud Light.

Around me,
eyes fill
with streams of fear
and drops of heartache;
