Page 6 THE CLACKAMAS PRINT ENTERTAINMENT May 27,1992 Grocery Stores Nol: Dave I think this is an important issue to address. I person ally derive a majority of my repast at supermarkets and fast food. Dave: Yes, I would have to agree the majority of the food con sumed by the people I know comes from stores also. O ü ’TS+KN dí / vg ? Nol: Really? Whoa...,My personal favorite, in the immediate vicinity of ’the college, is Albertsons. I have found that they have the best 'ready to eaf selection of food, of all the other super markets which I have tried. Movies Dave: Yeah, and some of the checkers are babes! Dave: Okay readers, Nol and I have seen some bodacious movies in the Nol: Well, sure they are, Dave. past couple weeks and we thought ya’ll would like to hear about it. Even if you don t care, we’re gonna tell ya anyway. Lethal Weapon 3 *** Dave: Now hold on now. I'm thinking the deli sandwiches at Thriftway are pretty fine, also. Between you and me though, I used to work at the meat room at the Gladstone Thriftway a few years ago and it was disgusting! Dave: I thought that this movie was most excellent. As in the other two movies this one carried on the tradition of large helpings of action and comedy with just a pinch of drama. In all, the film was pretty good, but it wasn’t as good as their previous work in Lethal Weapon and Lethal Weapon Two. Oh well. Nol: Chaos and Mayhem Nol: I don't like the layout of that place though. I find it non aesthetic to the purchasing atmosphere. Dave: Wow, I hâte it when that happens. Of course, to fix that, all you have to do is get one of filose little pine trees you can hang in your car. Aliens 3 **.5 Nol: Hey what do ya think about finding it at Freddie's man? Dave: Now this is the movie I have been waiting for a very, long time, and boy, was I disappointed! First of all, all the characters that survived in the ‘Aliens’ movie are dead! (with the exception of Si gourney Weavers character, of course.) The movie is dark and gloomy. The whole flick takes place underground in a bunch of dark tunnels. All in all, this.picture is a lot like the original ‘Alien’ in that it-is more of a suspense film than an action one. Still, the storyline is pretty good, except that the ending was depressing. Dave: Well, I find that they are a bit overpriced in some areas, but they have an excellent deli! They also keep their store a lot cleaner than others. Nol: How about Safeway? *Danny Glover and Mel Gibson Nol: I haven’t seen it yet, but I think I’m going to take my little brother to see it. It is unreal. The guy is only in Junior High, and he never gets carded so long as he’s ¡around me. White Men Can’t Jump **.5 Dave: White Men Can’t Jump? Qh yeah! Well me and Wesley Snipes should play some one-on-one some day, I’ll show him. I still haven’t seen the movie though. Summer. Dave: Safeway is O.K., I guess. I used to work there also and it didn't suck quite as bad as working at Thrift way. Safeway grocery stores pride themselves on cleanli ness and politeness. I should know, I mopped about every square inch of it about a jillion times. But I had a little bit of difficulty staying polite to all the grouchy little old ladies that always shopped there. Nol: Well, Dave, politeness was never one of your strong points. Dave & Nol
