The actors in this intense play sacrifice more than just three hours weekly in rehearsals. Kerr and-June would classify the extra time spent as about five hours a week per play. With the time, effort and money spent on makeup, lighting, costumes and perfecting the per formances, the actors clearly think that this play is special. “It’s a very strange play; it tends to shock the audience a bit because it’s not usual... it has a lot of symbolism and people can read into it a lot’of things,” com mented Jarvey. According to the three ac tors, there is no way to classify this play. “The play will drag people in kicking and.screaming,” said June. “Some plays you just sit down and it’s easy to watch; this one will rip you apart.” David Burnett, who plays the clown, enjoys working with June. “She understands the play. We need to have someone who un derstands it,” said Burnett. The play, which is all done with mirrors, will be something new in the theatre department.
