The areas on campus where
the class climbs are on the exte­
rior of Randall and Barlow. There
are also climbing routes in two of
the stairwells Randall, and they
also climb on the beams in the
gym. The routes on campus were
all built by Nelson or one of the
members of the class.
On occasion climbers can be
seen climbing outside Tuesday and
Thursday evenings, but because
of Oregon’s weather they usually
climb indoors during fall and winter
terms. The group doesn’t take field
trips for safety reasons, but some­
times spring term they climb at
Carver rocks.
