Cross blood drive on Oct. 25 by Jennifer Soper Staff writer The ASG will sponsor a blood drive for the American Red Cross Oct. 25. The drive will be held in the Fireside Lounge from 10 a.m. to 3. p.m. “Td like to sign up 300 people,” said Assistant to the President Ken Ingram. “There’s always a big need for blood.” With the recent hurri cane and the holidays approach ing, Ingram believes the need is even greater now. To be eligible to demate blood, a person must be healthy, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be between the ages of 17 and 65. A person must wait 56 days from their last donation before giving blood again. “We think it (theblood) goes for a good cause,” said Ingram.
