ASG meeting Three senators were nominated for sen­ ator of the term honors during last Thurs­ day's Associated Student Government meet­ ing. Ron Kunkel, John Umbras and Ken Roberts were nominated after the senate went into lengthy debate on the question of whether or not the old officers currently serving as senators could be nominated. It was decided that the old officers could be nominated but none were. Hallie Brown was approved as next year's ASG activities director filling the last open­ ing for a presidential appointee. Brown joins appointees Tonya Tucker, assistant to the president; and Barbara St. Mary publicity director. ASG also allocated $400 to the environ­ mental Learning Center for a fishery tank. the featured entertainment of the graduation ceremonies. Following a welcome from Dean of Stu­ dent Services Len Monroe, Clackamas Com­ munity College President John Hakanson will speak briefly and then introduce the featured speakers. Board Chairperson Corinne Jones will present the certificates to the graduates. There will be a reception in the Clack­ amas Community College Community Cen­ ter building following the ceremonies. The public is invited. Business law Students interested in Business Admini­ stration might be interested to know that Clackamas Community College may be of­ fering a Business Law course this summer. School picnic M H Summer is here and picnics are on the agenda for a lot of people. Clackamas Community College is planning their annual school picnic. The picnic will be at McIver State Park near Estacada, in section C on Friday, June 3. The picnic will begin at 2 p.m. and con­ tinue till dusk. "Supersound," an incredible 5,000-watt stereo quad sound system will be playing everybody's favorite chartstoppers from the past two years. Hamburgers, chips, Bar-B-Q beans and soft drinks will be the menu of free food prepared by new and old ASG officers. There will also be physical activities for those who don't want to just sit around in the sun all day. The games include volley­ ball, softball and a Frisbee contest. All CCC students are invited to attend as well as families and friends.
