post-secondary school. It would require
CSD to make payments directly to a day
care center for services and supplement ex
isting financial aid programs for parents.
"This program is designed to supplement,
not replace existing financial aid programs
for parents. Current CSD programs provide
aid to some undergraduate students, but
generally exclude graduate students, fresh
men and sophomores in four year schools
and community college students enrolled in
academic transfer programs," said Ken Rob
erts, Associated Student Government senator
involved in lobbying, for this legislation.
This bill would also allow CSD to dele
gate certain administrative responsibilities
to participating schools and would establish
a means of distributing the total appropri
ation on an equitable basis to participating
schools. The level of appropriation is $3.65
million for the next biennium, said Roberts.
The meeting will be held at noon in the
Fireside Lounge to discuss ways to establish
demonstrated needs for these child care
services. All student parents are invited to
attend.
Art presentation
Leland John will make an art presenta
tion this Monday in conjunction with Mayo
Roy's Philosophy of Asthetics (Phil 204)
class. John, art instructor at Clackamas
Community College, will discuss and show
slides of his works. The presentation will
begin at noon in B-151.
The following Thursday Norm Bursheim,
also an art instructor at CCC, will make a
similar presentation with his works at the
same time and location.
Both presentations are open to the com-
munity.

Linda Pointer was approved to fill that
vacancy.
Today's ASG meeting in the Fireside
Lounge will see the appointment of three or
four new senators and a nonsmoking policy
will be voted upon.
If passed by the senate and approved by
the administration, a section of the cafe
