The play is one of those "taut murder mysteries" and was written by Louise Flet­ cher. Drama instructor Jack Shields will direct the CCC version. Performances are scheduled for March 3, 4 and 6 in McLoughlin Theatre. The cast will then rehearse another two weeks for a spring vacation booking in Cannon Beach. For the Cannon Beach performance, Shields has hired a professional actress from New York to play the female lead. Her name is Wendy Dustin. Wheeler reasons "she must be good," because she has been working steadily in a notoriously unsteady profession.
