This, the year of the “New
Print,” has been one filled with
hours of writing, re-writing,
editing, shooting, developing,
printing, cropping, dummying
and paste-up. The result? A
total of 25 editions (counting
this one) for a grand total of
over 200 pages of newsprint.
That’s enough fora novel!
The year has not been
without frustrations. “The
computer broke down again; I
think the trailer got struck by
lightning over the weekend.”
“What do you mean, the Com-
pugraphic isn’t working? We
can’t put out a paper?”
“You’re kidding; someone ac
tually moved the waxer while
the wax was hot, and it melted
all
over
the
internal
mechanism?” Ah, well....life is
full of challenges.
The people you see pictured
on these pages are the ones who
met those challenges, and who
spent endless hours tracking
stories, typing away in Trailer B
and generally devoting their en
tire college careers to the
publication of this newspaper
They’re a committed and har
working bunch!
And you - the readers - han
given us the satisfaction o
reading our paper, offerin
feedoacK ¡lcwanu then anu j
least making us feel our effort
were worthwhile. Thus "
dedicate this - our Grand Final
Edition - to you. -
And to the staff of Ti
Print....I offer my own cor
gratulations for a successful year
I’m proud of each one of you.
