placed tenth. Larson took a six­
th place honor for highest in­
dividual.
A fourth place was awarded
to the College team in B com­
petition. Members of the team
include: Debbie Bugarsky,
Canby; Frank Kraaz, Roseburg
and Don McNiel, West Linn.
The students participating in
the judging are enrolled in
livestock and dairy judging
classes at the College, instruc­
ted by Lynn Reagan in
livestock and Allen Mann in
dairy judging.
The livestock judging classes
are part of the agri-business
curriculum and are tran-
sferrable to four-year univer-
sities. •
“The field is wide open and
we are not able to fill all of the
job demand as we have more
job openings than students,”
Reagan said.
A survey conducted in this
field showed that the demand
