To begin with, Montgomery
wants to concentrate her time
and evergy in doing the best job
she can as business manager and
then she intends to get involved
in other areas that concern stu­
dents, she said.

Sherrie Montgomery is a bus­
iness major at the College and

Manager because she wants to
get involved in student govern­
ment and feels that with her
past experience she can best
serve the students in this role.
Montgomery has developed
and implemented programs at
the Albina alternative sbhool in
Portland where she was directly
involved in leadership and man­
agement
During her eight years in the
business world she has written
budget proposels dealing with
millions of dollars and has been
in charge of the day-to-day dis­
bursement of these funds.
Women between 18 and 25
years of age are invited to be­
come volunteers for the United
Service Organizations, Inc.(USO).
The women will become in­
volved in various programs such
as dances, travel film shows and
socializing.

own participation level, as to
programs and time.

idea of promoting understanding

out and made clear to the senate

Harlan said.
