is also undefeated while One's
record is 5-3.
"Team Three is lucky to be
undefeated. They won all their
games but one bv ten points or
less," Perkins said.
In the game last Thursday the
Faculty won with Tom Connell
the leading scorer with 15 while
Team Five's leader was Brad
Roberts with 16.
"The biggest difference in. our
game was strictly the zone box
and one. Ron Hoodeye was the-
defensive star because he held
Brad Roberts pointless in the
second half,"Connell said. "Fis
kum started the scoring with a
clutch shot-though."
"Connell (Dan) tells everyone
that he. is the leading scorer-he
keeps score in his head," Fiskum
said.
"Now, Tom Connell is
good. We had to get him a job
on the staff to keep him on the
team."
Fiskum
continues,
"Ron
Hoodeye, Mr. Clutch, always
takes the last shot of the game
when we're one point behind or
tied. He won two games for us
in the last seconds of the game."
"Of the other regulars Frank
Harlow is the gunner of the
team. He shoots everytime he
has the ball," Fiskum said.
"We do pride ourselves on our
disorganization. Doug Roberts
wanted to diagram a play and we
almost kicked him off the team."
"Bill Hargadine showed up
twice. He felt he was too good
to play with us, at least that's
what he said," Fiskum said.
"Chuck Hudson played once
but he didn't want to play any
more," Fiskum said. "He told
us that he had forgotten more
plays than we'd ever known."
Rich Taylor is returning to
the lineup for the faculty after
being released because he was
too busy with wrestling to play.
"It will probably be a pretty
tough game,"Taylor said. It was
a hard win the last time, in fact,
we won it in the last 30 seconds.
Also, they are the most physical
team too."
"I think that Perkin's team
tries to intimidate everyone with
their size and muscle. But it
won't work with us," Fiskum
said.
The game starts at 11:10 and
individual trophies will be award
edtothe winningteam members.
At halftime Steve Gustovich will
receive a plaque for his feat of
making 17 out of 23 free throws
to become the CCC free throw
champ.
At the conclusion of the game
an All-Star team will be named.
Team Five will play Team
Four for third place in the con
solation round. Team Eight won
their game 50-44 led by Jim
Barr with 32 points. Billy Aw
managed 14 points for the losers,
Team Eight.

Some women interested in
a woman's softball club are
trying to recruit members.
Nine players are needed to
fill the roster.
The club, which is spon
sored by the Associated Stu
dent Government, has in the
past played some of the local
high schools and participated
in several tournaments.
Problems
arose in past .
clubs. One of the biggest is
that most of the members
have come out of the soft-
that is offered
ball class
spring term. These people are
often limited in the time that
they can give to the club be
cause it does occur during
school hours.
As a result, it got so bad
that,
according to Coach
Nancy Mikleton, it was almost
impossible to get the required
nine players for the games.
Early returns show only a
slight interest but there is
hope that as soon as the club
becomes better known the
situation will change.
Steve Maynard, a 5-11
180 pound defensive back,
has signed a letter of in
tent to Oregon College of
Education.
"This doesn't mean I'll
definitely go there but I'm
about ninety percent sure I
will," Maynard said.
Tim Burnett, a 5-11, 210
pound offensive tackle, and
Wyatt Armstrong, a 6-0, 220
pound offensive lineman are
also considering OCE.
