Generals trounced by Madison 12-0 Last week the Generals’ base ball team picked up a couple of important wins with good strong pitching and fine defensive play, but on Monday of this week it was defeated by the Madison Senators 12-0, at Madison. In last week’s games the Generals defeated Jackson and Franklin by scores of 5-1 and 1-0, respectively. The game with Jackson was a make-up game, and Dan Percich went the distance allowing only three hits. Robin Sinclair led the hit ting with two triples. In the other game, against Franklin, Jamie Eoff pinch hit- ted in the bottom of the eighth inning and got a single with the bases loaded to ice the win for the Generals. Dick Paulson, who pitched that game, has one of the lowest earned run averages in the city.
