The Newport Farmers Market is pleased to announce
that our outdoor season will open on June 6, 2020
at our summer location across from city hall on the
corner of Highway 101 and Angle Street. We will be
open Saturdays from 9-1.
In order to protect our vendors and our customers,
things will look a bit different this year, and we need
everyone's cooperation to ensure we can continue to
remain open for the full season.
To provide enough space for social distancing, we've
had to cut the number of booths in half, so other
than farms, all vendors will be rotating attendance.
We encourage you to check with individual vendors
to confirm what weeks they will be attending. We will
have a list on our Facebook page of all summer
vendors and will post any revisions or updates at
www.facebook.com/newportorfarmersmarket
Consider making a list and planning your route so
you can get in, get what you're looking for, and get
out quickly and safely. There will not be seating or
visiting areas available this summer.
We are resilient. With your help, we can make this
work. There are a lot of small businesses that are
breathing a sigh of relief at being able to reopen,
while trying to push the fears and worries to the
back of their mind. Please help us meet the unusual
challenges this year so that we may remain open.
