MASK UP FOR THE
MASCOT PARADE
Lincoln City Parks and Recreation will
hold a mascot parade at the Lincoln City
Community Center this Friday, May 15,
off ering “Tigers, Sharks, and Beavers, oh
my.”
Th e idea started with a drive-through
zoo of stuff ed animals and morphed
into celebrating the many mascots of
Lincoln City for a curbside drive-through
experience. Staff called numerous resources
and gathered more than a dozen mascots
and costumes aplenty.
Drivers and passengers are encouraged to
dress up as well. Social distancing guidelines
will be in place, as guests drive through the
community center parking lot and view
from their cars.
Th e parade will run from 1 to 2 pm at
2150 SE Oar Drive.
