I
n the hustle-bustle of the holiday season,
unique local gifts that offer a true taste of the
Pacific Northwest can easily be overlooked
in the quest for the latest gadget or next door-
buster deal.
The best gifts are often those found in small,
family-owned stores that offer what bigger fran-
chises cannot.
In this issue we highlight a few of the many
local holiday gift ideas from nearby merchants in
Clatsop and Pacific County. Get out and explore
on your own: One of the most memorable expe-
riences is finding a perfect present that you never
would have imagined until the magic moment you
encounter it.

natural playdough are available at Eden’s Bouquet, located at

find new life as garden flowers and old wine bottles bottoms
become homemade candles while the tops are chopped into
wind chimes, pictured.
