Last year's count show'ed a density of 35 pheasants per 100 acres. This year, Game Commission Agent Cecil Langdon found a density of 60 pheasants per 100 acres. This is a better than average number and if the weather during the nesting season is favorable, this large volume of winter holdovers should provide a good crop of birds for this area next faH. Inventories are not complete throughout the state, but general ly an increase over last year is expected. Over 7,000 adult pheasant hens were released from state game farms during March. These birds were released to provide addition al testers for this year. 8,111,979.19 Total Resources • Aluminum hulled, wood trimmed Larson Watercraft are always ready to go! Always dry!
