An artist wax painting a
scene. All I saw wits rubbish,
nude trees and black water. Ax
I watched him I wax astonished
nt the transformation; that
s<-enr became tM-nutiful. That
rubbish heap was covered with
a soft white blanket of snow,
the nude branches hint ermine
cuffs and the sun stretched
long shadow-fingers to make an
exquisite pattern. The black
water of the creek [»eeked imp
ishly from under sparkling piles
of snow, I determined then that
ugliness was a matter of view
point.
I ttwilight of a boy, la-lliger-
ent, yet full of fun, good mind
but an Imp of Satan. He wax
seldom out of trouble, until one
man kxiked beyond the "rub
bish" und saw the beauty of his
nature Through love and gtiid-
ance that boy develojied into
one of the most beautiful char
acters I’ve ever known.

Easter Sunrise
Service Planned
At the regular meeting of the
Ladies Aid of the Trinity Lu
theran church March 6, plans were
discussed for the Easter Sunrise
service.
Twenty members were piescnt
with Mrs. Toby Larson and Miss
Sylvia Thiede as visitors. Mrs.
John Bauder and Mrs. R. B. Dix
on served the luncheon.
The meeting was opened by the
singing of a hymn and prayer by
the group. A kitchen shower will
be held at the April meeting. A
list of articles needed for the kit
chen will be posted in the kitchen
by the committee prior to the
shower.
