well, died December 12, 1950 in
Eugene at the age of 55. She wa
•torn February 4, 1895, in Fargo
N. D., and had lived in Oregon
the |»ast eight years. She was a
memlxT of the Episcopal church
of Fullerton. Calif., and a past
worthy matron of the Otder of
Eastern Star in Brea, Calif.
She is survived by her husband
James E Gale of Creswell: three
sisters. Mrs. Della Anderson, Mrs.
Ix'wis Cantwell, and Miss Aurora
Linder, all of Glendale. Calif.; one
brother, Rudolph Linder of Fargo.
Mrs. Lilly Drake is moving into
the small cabin on the Sam Rus-
sum place belonging to Mr. and
Mrs. Ed Davis. Mrs. Drake is a
sister of Charlie Miller, who dis-
apfxared Nov. 30.
Clifford Atkinson of Napa, Ida.,
made a brief call Tuesday at the
Glen Roby home.

end and visited relatives there.
Mr Duerst brought his uncle. Ar­
nold Britt of Waukon. Iowa, home
with him to spent the Christmas
holidays here. Mr. Britt is going
to spend the winter in Oregon.
