cada Monday to visit a daughter,
Mrs. William Carr and Mr. Carr.
Mr. and Mrs. Paris arrived here
last v -ek for a brief stay.

Eddie Deremer was called to
Portland last week by the illness
and death of his mother, Mrs. Ro­
setta Deremer. Funeral services
were held in Portland September
13th and vault entombment was in
the Rose City Cemetery. Mrs. Der­
emer died at Portland on Septem­
ber 9th following an illness of
about a year.
Miss Leona Vaugh left Tuesday
for Salem to make her home this
winter with the Rev. and Mrs. At
wood Foster and children.
Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Breedlove
sold their house on West Mam
street to Mrs. Robinett of Eugene.
Mrs. Robinett’s daughter Opal will
> live with her. Mr. and Mrs. Breed­
love are living at 439 South River
Road while their new house is be­
ing built on the corner of L and
West Main.
We thank Swartz and Wolfard for the donation of
the coffee, the Cottage Grove Gas Co. for installing
a gas plate and donating gas for it, also the mem­
bers of the National Guard at the Armory for the
manj favors.
