Washington was a visitor Wednes
day, last week at the home of her
father, Oren Skaggs.

over the week end al the home of

[Terry is a niece of Mr. Robinson.
At a district school meeting held
Monday evening, at the school
house, it was voted to set aside

derived from the delinquent taxes
paid In the past year. Hiram
Wheeler was re-elected a member
of the school Ixiaid by the ac
clamations, and financial report
was read for the year ending June
30th.
Mrs Eve Whitworth, of Los
Angeles, sister of Mrs. Robinson,
is spending a vacation at the home
of Mr, and Mrs. C. J. Robinson.
Mr and Mrs. George McMur-
rick motored to Albany, Saturday,
returning home Sunday with the
children, Danny. Eva Lynn, Geo.,
Jr. and Ann, who have been visit
ing relations and attending sum
mer Bible school at Albany the
past two weeks.
Miss Carol McCraeken is at
tending Girl Scouts summer camp,

meeting was held at the school
house Monday evening following
the school business meeting. Quite
a strong discussion was provoked

Grove-Lorane market road, a

Winnie Hagerty, 61, of Eugene

21, after being unconscious from
a stroke suffered Friday night.
She was a suiter of the late O. A
Nichols, and lived at Latham for
several years.
She is survived by a daughter,
Mrs. Leo Paschelke. and young
grandson at Marcola and a sister,
Mrs. Albert Oaks of Eugene.
Funeral services will be held at
Poole-Laisen Funeral chapel in
Eugene, Friday, June 24. at 2:00
p.m. Interment will be in the Cot
tage Grove I O O F cemetery.
Latham friends will assist at the
funeral Service.
