Thi" city has a sizeable stake in the original cost of the building, which was in the neighborhood of $50.000 to $00.000, but unless repairs are marie to the buihling. taxpayers of the community m»y as well write off the original investment. 3o far as we know up to now the armory building has l>een of little value to the community. The chief drawback to the usd of the building has been the antiquated heating system, where the entire building has to be heated where only one room is Ai use. Installation of a modern heating system together with roof repairs and a good painting job. which members of the Heavy Mortar Company are willing to do, would put the build ing back in a good state of repair.
