proved March 8, 1948.
Proposals will be received upon
either of the several kinds or
’classes of improvement in accord-
ance with approved plans, spe
cifications and estimate of the
City Engineer on file in the office
of the City Recorder, City Hall,
Cottage Grove, Oregon. The type
of improvement to be such as the
, Council shall determine.
i Proposals must be in accord
ance with printed blanks, which
will be furnished on application at
the office of the City Recorder.
The improvement must be com
pleted on or before 60 days from
the date of the contract for the
work. No proposal will be con
sidered unless accompanied by a
check payable to the City of Cot
tage Grove, or order, certified by
a responsible bank, or Surety
Company Bidder’s Bonds for an
amount equal to ten percent of
the aggregate amount of the pro
posal, to be forfeited as fixed and
liquidated damages should the
bidder neglect or refuse to enter
into a contract and provide a suit
able bond for the faithful per
formance of the work in the event
the contract is awarded to him
The right to reject any and all
proposals is hereby reserved.
