at the club house Jan. 7, with their
first meeting of the new year.
Due to the recent high waler
conditions, only ten members
turned out. Dean Kelly and Don
Ewing fixed planks over the flood­
ed club-house yard.
The meeting was brought to
order
vice-president Mabel
Earnes. Reports on bills paid were
given by secretary-treasurer La-
wana Sugg and dues for the com­
ing year were paid by the mem­
bers present. A report from the
flower committee, Gladys Kelly,
was that a plant was sent to Doro­
thy McKay who was ill and hos­
pitalized Christmas Eve.
Election of officers by secret
ballot was held with Marie Stein
elected as president for the coming
year, Gladys Kelly, vice-president,
and Lawana Sugg, re-elected as
secretary-treasurer. Gladys Kelly
was reappointed to serve as flower
committee.
Serving the covered dish lunch-
eon at noon and acting as house-
keepers for the day were Esther
Hanlon and May Anderson
