Miss Marilyn Williams, who will have charge of classes for the handicapped children in Eugene schools, recently from St. Louis, was one of the judges for the lip reading contest which was won by i Mrs. Sylvia Peters, secretary of the Eugene Hearing Society who were hosts for this conference of the northwest zone She is also vice-president of this zone Miss Betty Wright, a severely handi capped person with very little nat ural hearing, gave a most interest ing talk concerning her exper iences during the war as a nurse in various American hospitals.
