A goodly crowd responded. Each room put on in teresting numbers appropriate to the occasion. Mrs. Ivan Abeene sang two lovely numbers. Great ly adding to the enjoyment of all was the appearance of Mr Davis who gave many numbers on his well-known musical beUs. This was made possible through the generosity of the Hebron Grange. Approximately $150 was realized on the boot!} sales and pie auc tion. The teachers and patrons of Latham school greatly appreciate the support given by Latham School Parents club and the Grange. The program committee of the club was: Mrs. Fred Har ris, chairman; Chas. Parrett, La tham principal, and Mrs. Alan Hance. The committee in charge of txxith sales was: Mrs. A. M. Johnson, chairman, Mrs. Ivan Abeene, and Mrs. Earl Marcy. Kt hasten luncheon I The members of the El Martes club were entertained at a lunch eon on TueMlay by Mis l.lyn Rickard. Mrs. F. D. Couple Plight Troth At Candlelight Service A background of yellow and white chrysanthemums and green ery with tall baskets of chrysan themums and candelabra with white tapers on either side formed the setting Monday night, Nov. 25. at the First Methodist church for the marriage of Miss Patricia Sorensen to George Lee Tucker White lighted tapers were burning in each window of the sanctuary during the candlelight double ring ceremony read by the Rev. Frank E. Ri-own before a large group of relatives and friends. The bride chose the 26th wedding anniversary of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter'Sorensen, for her wedding date. The groom is' the son of Mrs. Alex Garoutte and Hez Tucker of Creswell. Preceding the ceremony Miss Betty Wourms of Eugene, cousin of the bride, played "Cleur de Lune.” She also played the wed ding marches. Soloist was the Rev. Frank E. Brown, who sang "Be cause” and “Oh. Promise Me.” ac companied by Mrs. Boyd Allen. The bride came down the aisle on the arm of her father, lovely in a white wedding dress of rayon marquisette with fitted bodice, full skirt, sweetheart neckline and seven-eighths sleeves. A coronet of stephanotis held her fingertip veil in place and she carried a white Bible on which lay a single white orchid. Maid of honor was Miss Donna Porterfield who wore a pastel green net floorlength dress and carried a nosegay of pink chrysan themums and rosebuds. Brides maids were Mrs. Robert Moody and Miss Beverly Sorensen, sis ters of the bride, wearing white net dresses, on«* over blue and the other over yellow. They carried nosegays of yellow chrysanthe mums and pink rosebuds. Jack Montieth, cousin of the groom, was best man and ushers were Robert Moody, brother-in- law of the bride, and Palmer Ayres of Junction City, cousin of the bride. Mr. Moody and Mr. Ayres also lighted the tapers pre- ceding the wedding.
