showered Mrs George Hardy re­
cently at the home of Mrs W. C.
Martin Mrs Hardy was invited
to go for a nde and was very
much surprised when they arriv­
ed at the Martin home to find 25
of the ladies of the church then*
to honor her with a shower.
The afternoon was spent with
games which were in charge of
Mrs. H. H. Wecidroyer and the
gifts were found by the honoree
by means of a treasure hunt. She
received many dainty and useful
articles by those prosent and sev­
eral sent gifts who could not at­
tend. Mrs. J. E. Judy of Eugene,
mother of Mrs. Hardy, was a
special guest.
The ladies served refreshments
at the tea hour. Assisting in the
