He said airplane production schedules for the first three months of this year have been met or exceeded, and production of tanks is ahead of schedule. Mr. Nelson said production of merchant ships Is "rising rapid ly " and this year’s schedule should be met. A Garand rifle Is now available fo r "every one of our combat soldiers who is supposed to have one." he said. Production schedules tor anti-aircraft and anti-tank guns also are being met.
