Another new and modern ser
vice station on the Pacific high
way will be formally opened to the
public Saturday. May 3rd, when
Alvls Wicks holds a grand open
ing at his new station at 6th
street and tlie new Pacific high
way. The* station, constructed near
the Wick* residence-, represents an
inves t m e n t of approximately
W.OOO and contains all modern
equipment and convenience» which
are deinunded by the- motorists of
today. Construction on the build
ing was started the first of the
year ami the finishing touches
added only recently when work
men completed the- puinting and
decorations. The new station is
finished in the colors of the Asso
ciated Oil Co., red, creum and
green.
In nddition to the services of

Dale Owens, mechaiac, will lx- as

expert repair service on any make
of car. Mr. Wicks will continue to

Mr. Wicks, who operated a ser
vice station on North 9th street
for ten yearn before moving to his
new location, extends a cordial
invitation to all to look over the
new station. Your visit does not
obligate you to buy.
