M im Glndys Elaine Lemley,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. R.
Lemley, became the bride of Lee
Kruse, son of Mr. and Max Kruse,
Saturday evening, March 15th at
8:15. The simple but beautiful
wedding ceremony was performed
in the presence of a few close
friends of the couple by the Rev.
Atwod Foster, pastor of the As­
sembly of God church, in the par­
lor of his home. The bride was
becomingly attired in a cherry’ red
street dress w ith hat and purse
of suede to match. She wore a
coat of light tweed w ith a corsage
of orchids. The couple were a t­
tended by Mr. and Mrs. Herbert
Reed of Culp Creek. Both the
bride and groom are graduates
of the class of 1940 of Cottage
Grove High School. She was pres­
ident of the Girls League and vice-
president of the state Girls League
and he was president of the Senior
class during that year. Both were
members of the National Honor
society. Following the wedding re­
freshments were served. Mr. and
Mrs. Kruse are making their home
in the Omer apartments.
