every type o f a c tiv ity , according
to a p re lim in a ry survey fo r last
year which has ju st been received
by the Oregon State M oto r asso
ciation. The most im portant fac
to r is the production o f cars and
trucks reached 4,476.000 units, an
increase o f 25 percent over 1939.
