VALENTINE PARTY.
A very delightful valentine par­
ty was held last Thursday evening
by a number of the young people
of the Presbyterian church at the
home o f Mr. and Mrs. W. H.
Daugherty. The large and splen­
didly arranged basement where
games were played u n til a late
hour was given a valentine a ir by
the decorations, and. tlje delicious
refreshments o f heart-shaped ice
cream blocks w ith cakes and cold

Miss Dorothy Sieman. daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Sieman of
Roseburg to Jack Kady of San
Francisco. The ceremony was per­
formed in San Francisco, Satur­
day. February 15th. The bride is
a graduate of Cottage Grove high
school and attended Normal school
at Ashland. Mr. Kady is a former
resident o f Eugene. The young
couple w ill make their home in
San Francisco.
